CNA - Hourly labour costs up by 2.7% on annual basis

Hourly labour costs increased by 2.7%, in the 4th quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter in 2024.

According to provisional data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, on Tuesday, it is estimated that in the 4th quarter of 2025 hourly labour costs (total cost) increased by 2.7%, compared with the same quarter of the previous year.

The two main components of labour costs, wages and salaries per hour worked and non-wage costs per hour worked increased by 2.7% and 2.9% respectively, compared with the same quarter of the previous year.

The hourly labour cost (total cost), seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.7% compared to the previous quarter.

The hourly labour cost that refers to wages and salaries, seasonally adjusted, also increased by 0.7% compared to the previous quarter, as did the hourly non-wage cost, seasonally adjusted, the Statistical Service says.
