Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market trading with PSI index up 0.45% on Thursday morning

Lisbon, Sept. 4, 2025 (Lusa) - The main index of the Portuguese stock market, the PSI, was trading up 0.45% on Thursday morning after more than an hour of trading, extending the gains from earlier in the session.

At around 9.20am, the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index) was up 0.45% to 7,682.54 points and 12 of the 15 listed companies were in positive territory.

The biggest gainers were Jerónimo Martins, up 1.69% to €21.60, followed by Altri and NOS, up 1.33% to €4.97 and 1.03% to €3.91 respectively.

Corticeira Amorim (0.94% to €7.52), Semapa (0.92% to €17.48), Mota-Engil (0.81% to €4.95) and BCP (0.77% to €0.73) also posted gains.

REN was gaining 0.68% to €2.94, Navigator 0.61% to €3.29 and Ibersol 0.41% to €9.74.

With more modest increases were Sonae and CTT, which were rising 0.16% and 0.14 to €1.28 and €7.12, respectively.

In the opposite direction were the energy companies EDP Renováveis, Galp Energia and EDP.

EDP Renováveis was down 0.31% to €9.75, Galp was down 0.22% to €16.05 and EDP was down 0.05% to €3.72.
