TIRANA, Sept 5 /ATSH/ – Authentic Albanian food products are being promoted at the RIGA FOOD 2025 fair, the largest food industry event in the Baltic region, taking place in Latvia from September 4 to 6.

The fair serves as a key platform for presenting innovations, trends and developments in the agro-food sector, bringing together producers, distributors, importers and industry experts from across Europe.

Albania is participating with a dedicated pavilion, showcasing representative products of its tradition and quality, including olive oil, honey, teas, fruits and medicinal herbs.

According to Albania’s Investment Development Agency (AIDA), the country’s participation aims to boost the visibility of local production in international markets and encourage new partnerships in the agro-food sector.

“The Baltic market has shown strong interest in Albanian products, opening the way for further cooperation and expansion abroad,” AIDA said.

At the Albanian pavilion (E19/D20), visitors can sample and learn about some of the country’s finest products.

The opening day featured numerous business-to-business meetings where Albanian companies engaged with Baltic representatives, highlighting Albania’s potential as a source of traditional, high-quality Mediterranean flavors.

Albania’s participation marks an important step in promoting its food products abroad, particularly in the Baltic countries, where demand for organic and certified-origin products is on the rise.
