Lisbon, Oct. 7, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Tuesday, with the PSI index falling 0.75% to 8,116.60 points, even though Mota-Engil gained more than 5% in a mostly positive Europe.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI, 11 went down, four went up and Semapa remained unchanged at €18.30.
Leading the declines was EDP, which fell 1.58% to €4.11.
Also noteworthy were Navigator, which fell 1.46% to €3.10, Galp, which totalled 1.31% less to €16.98, EDP Renováveis, which fell 1.28% to €12.34, CTT, which fell 1.24% to €7.16, NOS, which fell 1.05% to €3.79 and Sonae SGPS, which fell 1.02% to €1.35.
With falls of less than 1% were BCP (€0.75), REN (€3.05), Ibersol (€10.10) and Altri (€4.78).
In the opposite direction, leading the way was Mota-Engil, which rose 5.49% to €5.48, followed by Teixeira Duarte, which added 3.77% to €0.55.
With gains of less than 1% were Jerónimo Martins (€20.78) and Corticeira Amorim (€7.20).
In the rest of Europe, London rose by 0.05%, Paris by 0.04%, and Frankfurt by 0.03%, while Madrid fell by 0.19%.
