Last year 950,240 properties changed hands on the Italian real-estate market, 1.7% more than in 2023, Istat said on Wednesday.
    The national statistics agency said sales of residential properties grew by 1.8% and acquisitions in the economic sector were up 1%.
    It said 331,013 mortgage agreements were stipulated in Italy in 2024, a rise of 7.2% on the previous year.
