Lisbon, June 16, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Monday, with the PSI index advancing 0.94% to 7,545.86 points, in line with the rest of Europe.
Of the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), five rose, six fell and Galp, Ibersol, Jerónimo Martins and REN remained unchanged at €15.78, €10.20, €21.56 and €3.01, respectively.
BCP led the gains, rising 3.50% to €0.70. BCP's weighting in the PSI explains the reason for the index rising on a day when fallers outnumbered the risers.
Among the main gains were EDP Renováveis, which rose 2.95% to €9.78, and CTT, which rose 1.38% to €7.36.
With increases of less than 1% were EDP (€3.64) and Mota-Engil (€4.08).
In the opposite direction, leading the declines was Altri, which fell 0.98% to €5.07.
Also with declines of less than 1% were Corticeira Amorim (€7.78), Navigator (€3.30), Sonae SGPS (€1.19), NOS (€3.82) and Semapa (€16.28).
In the rest of Europe, Madrid rose 1.14%, Frankfurt 0.78%, Paris 0.75% and London 0.28%.
