Friuli Venezia Giulia Governor Massimiliano Fedriga is the most popular leader of a regional government in Italy with an approval rating of 65%, up one percentage point on 2025, according to a SWG poll for ANSA.
Fedriga was followed by one of his colleagues in the right-wing League party, Veneto Governor Alberto Stefani, with an approval rating of 58%.
Third was another centre-right governor, Calabria's Roberto Occhiuto, with 53%, and he was followed by two centre-left regional presidents, Puglia's Antonio Decaro (51%) and Campania's Roberto Fico (47%).
The governor with the lowest approval rating was Sicily's Renato Schifani on 25%.
