Lisbon, Dec. 17, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed on Wednesday with a rise of 0.10% at 8,070.37 points, on a day when Europe was mixed, with REN and EDP advancing 1.38% and 0.87%, respectively.
The 16 companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index) saw six rise and eight fall, with Ibersol and Navigator remaining unchanged at €9.90 and €3.03 respectively.
The biggest risers were REN and EDP, which closed at €3.30 and €3.85.
BCP (+0.81% to €0.87), Jerónimo Martins (+0.75% to €20.10), Altri (+0.70% to €4.32) and NOS (+0.52% to €3.88) also remained in positive territory.
CTT recorded the biggest drop today, falling 2.15% to €7.29, followed by Mota-Engil, which fell 1.70% to €4.75.
Also in negative territory were Teixeira Duarte (-1.20% to €0.66), Semapa (-1.06% to €16.76), Galp (-0.64% to €14.01), Sonae (-0.62% to €1.60), Corticeira Amorim (-0.46% to €6.52) and EDP Renováveis (-0.43% to €11.68).
The main European markets closed mixed today, with the main indexes in London up 0.92%, Madrid 0.10% and Milan 0.25%. Paris fell 0.25% and Frankfurt 0.48%.
