Lisbon, Aug. 26, 2025 (Lusa) - Portugal's Lisbon stock market closed down today, with the PSI index falling 0.92 per cent to 7,844.17 points, in a negative Europe.

Of the 15 listed companies that make up the PSI, 13 fell, EDP advanced 0.34% to €3.83 and Ibersol was unchanged at €9.82.

Leading the declines was Mota-Engil, which fell 3.74% to €4.84.

Also noteworthy were BCP, which fell 3.20% to €0.74, CTT, which fell 2.85% to €7.51, and Corticeira Amorim, which totalled 1.91% less to €7.71.

With falls of less than 1% were Altri (€5.13), NOS (€3.95), Semapa (€18.06), Sonae SGPS (€1.31), Navigator (€3.37), Jerónimo Martins (€20.96), EDP Renováveis (€10.34), REN (€2.97) and Galp (€16.43).

In the rest of Europe, Paris fell by 1.70%, Madrid by 0.96%, London by 0.60% and Frankfurt by 0.50%.
