Lisbon, Aug. 14, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Thursday, with the PSI index dropping 0.47% to 7,722.76 points, in contrast to the rest of Europe.
Of the 15 listed companies that make up the PSI, 11 went down and four went up.
Leading the falls was Galp, which fell 2.28% to €16.08.
Among the biggest fallers were BCP, which dropped 1.23% to €0.76 and CTT, which fell 1.15% to €7.71.
With drops of less than 1% were Sonae SGPS (€1.30), Semapa (€17.72), Navigator (€3.27), Ibersol (€9.62), Altri (€5.03), Corticeira Amorim (€7.58), Jerónimo Martins (€20.78) and EDP Renováveis (€9.62).
In the opposite direction, leading the rises was EDP, which rose 0.85% to €3.70.
Also gaining less than 1% were NOS (€3.80), Mota-Engil (€5.47) and REN (€2.96).
In the rest of Europe, Madrid rose 1.24%, Paris 0.84%, Frankfurt 0.79% and London 0.13%.
