Lisbon, July 28, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Monday, with the PSI index falling 0.44% to 7,672.94 points, in line with the rest of Europe.
Of the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 10 fell and five rose.
Leading the declines was REN, which fell 1.96% to €3.00.
Among the biggest falls were Jerónimo Martins, which fell 1.57% to €21.36, and Altri, which fell 1.33% to €4.84.
With declines of less than 1% were BCP (€0.68), CTT (€7.56), Corticeira Amorim (€7.58), Sonae SGPS (€1.25), Ibersol (€9.58), EDP Renováveis (€10.30) and EDP (€3.83).
Going the other way, Mota-Engil led the gains, rising 3.15% to €4.32.
Semapa (€17.46), Galp (€16.88), Navigator (€3.11) and NOS (€3.61) saw gains of less than 1%.
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt fell 1.02%, London 0.43%, Paris also 0.43% and Madrid 0.12%.
