NNA - As part of its 2024-2025 strategy, “Supporting Schools in Developing Employee Skills”, the Lebanese Canadian University - LCU held a workshop titled “Digital Mastery: Boost Your Knowledge Through Digital Marketing and Social Media” at its Main Campus in Aintoura, Keserwan. The event gathered school administrators from both public and private schools, as well as educators and staff responsible for managing digital platforms and social media accounts.
The workshop opened with a welcoming speech by Mrs. Rania HABIB, Vice President of the University’s Board of Trustees.
She stressed the importance of supporting Lebanese schools in developing their employees’ skills, particularly in light of the challenges faced by the education sector since 2019.
Mrs. Habib highlighted also LCU’s role in providing continuous education opportunities and expressed hope that the recently implemented ceasefire would mark the beginning of peace and stability in Lebanon.
The session was prepared and led by Dr. Elias Ghaleb, who explored the latest strategies in digital marketing and social media management.
Dr. Ghaleb emphasized the transformative impact of these tools on the business and knowledge-sharing sectors. Participants engaged in interactive sessions designed to enhance their understanding of digital tools and develop skills essential for improving their schools’ social media presence and websites.
At the end of the workshop, certificates of participation were distributed to all attendees, and plans were made to schedule additional workshops for more in-depth and specialized training.
