Agency's board extends tenure for next three years
The ANSA news agency's new board of directors, appointed by the assembly of ANSA shareholders on April 24 and chaired by Giulio Anselmi, met in Rome on Tuesday and extended Stefano De Alessandri's tenure as the Agency's Chief Executive for the next three years.
The board also appointed a new Executive Committee - representing the different media profiles that form the Agency's stakeholders - which will be composed of Giulio Anselmi, Stefano De Alessandri, Alessandro Belloli, Daniela Bramati, Pierpaolo Camadini, Corrado Corradi, Giuseppe Ferrauto, Andrea Riffeser Monti and Alvise Zanardi.
Stefano De Alessandri has been ANSA Chief Executive since 2018.
After a degree from Bocconi University and starting out at Publitalia, his professional career path continued with lead positions in important media groups such as RCS Media Group, Conde Nast, Gruner Jahr, Hachette Rusconi and Mondadori.
Subsequently a partner and MED Region board member at EY (Ernst & Young), he held senior positions at media sector associations for 10 years as Vice President of FIEG, Audipress, ADS and FIPP.
In the FIEG he current holds the position of President of the News Agency Publishers
Category, is a member of the Management Committee and Chairman of the Union Relations Commission; on the international arena, he is a member of the board of directors of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) and of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN), where he has the position of Vice President.
