Lisbon, Oct. 6, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Tuesday, up 0.71% to 9,420.43 points, in line with trends in the main European markets.

Of the 16 companies listed on the national benchmark index, the PSI, 13 ended the day higher and three closed lower.

EDP Renewables recorded the biggest gain, of 1.78%. BCP followed, up 1.75%, followed by Ibersol, up 1.34%, and Semapa, up 1.26%.

The remaining listed companies that posted gains compared with Monday rose by less than 1%.

Of the three listed companies that fell, Galp Energia posted the biggest decline, down 0.95%. Nos lost 0.28% and Mota Engil fell by 0.12%.

The main European stock markets closed higher today, with London up 0.42%, Paris 0.40%, Frankfurt 0.77%, Madrid 0.75% and Milan 0.87%.
