Lisbon, Sept. 21, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Monday, up 0.79% at 9,617.39 points, in line with the European trend, with NOS rising by 3.16%.

Of the 16 listed companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 11 rose, four fell and Altri remained stable at €4.72.

NOS led the gains, closing at €5.55, followed by Mota-Engil, which rose by 1.99% to €5.11, and Sonae, which rose by 1.70% to €2.10.

Also closing up by more than 1% were Jerónimo Martins (up 1.30% to €17.89), Teixeira Duarte (up 1.26% to €0.48) and EDP Renewables (up 1.10% to €12.84).

Semapa (up 0.96% to €21) also closed higher, as did BCP (up 0.89% to €1.19), Navigator (up 0.43% to €3.26), REN (up 0.42% to €3.57) and EDP (up 0.15% to €4.81).

Leading the fallers was Ibersol, which fell by 1.57% to €10, followed by Corticeira Amorim, which fell by 0.72% to €6.94.

Galp also closed in negative territory, losing 0.46% to €21.79, as did CTT, which fell by 0.24% to €6.35.

The main European stock markets closed in positive territory today, with London up 0.75%, Paris 0.92%, Frankfurt 1.07%, Madrid 1.08% and Milan 1.60%.
