TIRANA, May 27/ATA/ The National Tourism Agency, alongside the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, organized the inaugural TEA Awards to honor Albania's top tourism promoters. Winners were determined using data from the TEA (Tourism Events of Albania) app, which tracks the popularity of events and destinations among local and international visitors.

Minister Blendi Gonxhja celebrated those who champion Albania as a top tourist destination in a recent social media post. He stated that the TEA Awards 2026 highlight a diverse calendar of events that directly fuel tourism growth and boost the country's international image.

“Filled with gratitude, we celebrated the visionaries working daily to elevate Albania into a premier, globally recognized cultural and tourist destination”, stated Gonxhja.

Hosted at Tirana’s historic Brigades Palace, the evening highlighted the latest TEA app updates. It showcased Albania’s modern approach to tourism—blending our rich heritage and creative energy into a captivating story shared with the world.
