NNA - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), Dr. Majed Mneimneh, on Monday discussed with Pakistani Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, prospects for developing economic and investment relations between the two countries.

According to a statement, "The discussions focused on increasing investment in productive sectors, supporting entrepreneurship and startups, while benefiting from Pakistan's experience in light industries, recycling, and manufacturing. The talks also covered enhancing IDAL’s role as a platform for fostering public-private partnerships, transferring technical expertise, facilitating the entry of Lebanese products into Asian markets, as well as attracting high-quality Pakistani investments in value-added sectors."

Mneimneh emphasized IDAL's commitment to creating a supportive and stimulating environment for investment, while the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his country's desire to enhance institutional cooperation and expand its economic presence in Lebanon through joint projects and investments.
