ZAGREB,8 April (Hina) - Croatia has no disruptions or restrictions in jet fuel supply at its airports, oil company INA said.
INA said it supplies all seven major Croatian airports and that deliveries remain stable and sufficient. Jet fuel is produced at its Rijeka refinery, and the company holds a 100% share of the domestic market.
The company said it is closely monitoring market conditions and ready to respond to any disruptions.
Media reports have pointed to jet fuel supply disruptions at some airports in Italy and Britain due to the war in Iran and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the International Air Transport Association, jet fuel prices have risen sharply in recent weeks, averaging $209 per barrel last week compared with $157.40 a month earlier and below $100 in February.
Rising fuel costs could force airlines to adjust flight schedules, including possible reductions in services.
