ZAGREB, 5 Dece (Hina) - UNICEF Croatia has launched its holiday campaign "Every Story Is Special. Every Child Matters", fronted by singers Sanja Doležal and Petar Grašo, to draw attention to the most vulnerable children in Croatia and worldwide, with all funds raised in December going to support programmes.

The campaign highlights stories from UNICEF-supported children and families, reminding the public that "we can write happier chapters of childhood together by supporting those who need it most." In the campaign video, Doležal and Grašo stress the importance of solidarity during the holidays.

Funds raised in December will support UNICEF programmes in Croatia for children in difficult circumstances, children with developmental disabilities and children without parental care, with part of the money going to humanitarian aid for children in crisis areas around the globe.

UNICEF said safer, healthier and happier childhoods are only possible through joint efforts -- by offering support, creating equal opportunities and promoting long-term social change -- and called on citizens to show solidarity with and support for the most vulnerable members of the community this holiday season.
