Prada said Tuesday that it has completed its 1.25-billion-euro acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings after obtaining all the necessary authorizations from the regulatory authorities.

    With the completion of the operation, Lorenzo Bertelli, 37, becomes Versace's executive chairman, in addition to his roles as Prada Group Marketing Director and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.

    Prada is still managed his parents, Patrizio Bertelli and Miuccia Prada.
