TIRANA, Dec 3 /ATA/ The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, announced on Wednesday from NATO headquarters in Brussels that Albania is ready to host the Corridor VIII Forum, which will take place in Tirana in February 2026.
Spiropali announced that, together with Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, an agreement has been reached with the Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Romania regarding the organisation of this regional forum.
Spiropali emphasised that, for Albania, Corridor VIII remains a historic and strategic route of political, economic, infrastructural, and Euro-Atlantic security importance, linking the Adriatic to the Black Sea and positioning Albania as a key junction within the region and beyond.
