Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes with benchmark index red in line with Europe

Lisbon, Nov. 14, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Friday, falling 0.78% to 8,250.30 points, following the European trend, with most listed companies recording losses.

Of the 16 companies included in the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), 13 fell and only three rose.

Altri, Sonae and Jerónimo Martins were the stocks that fell the most today, with losses of over 2%, closing at €4.74, €1.42 and €21.74, respectively.

REN fell 1.92% to €3.32, Semapa fell 1.34% to €17.62, and Navigator fell 1.05% to €3.03.

Also falling were EDP Renováveis (0.60% to €11.58), CTT (0.55% to €7.25), BCP (0.49% to €0.82), Corticeira Amorim (0.46% to €6.55), NOS (0.41% to €3.65), Mota-Engil (0.34% to €5.80) and EDP (0.03%, to €3.83).

The gains were led by Teixeira Duarte, which rose 2% to €0.71, followed by Ibersol, with an increase of 0.96% to €10.55, and Galp, which grew 0.72% to €18.27.

The main European markets closed in the red today, with most indices losing more than 1%. Milan fell 1.70%, Madrid 1.40% and London 1.11%. Paris also closed down, with a 0.76% decline, as did Frankfurt, which lost 0.69%.
