Macau, China, Nov. 7, 2025 (Lusa) - Gambling operator Wynn Macau announced on Friday operating profits of $177.9 million (€154.1 million) between July and September 2025, an increase of 24% year-on-year.
In the same quarter of 2024, Wynn Macau, with two casinos in the territory, had achieved operating profits of $143.5 million (€124.4 million), the operator said in a statement.
In the first nine months of the year, Wynn Macau achieved operating profits of $433.4 million (€375.6 million), a drop of around 15% year-on-year. In the same period of 2024, the figure totalled $511.5 million (€443.1 million).
The company's two casinos in the territory, Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, collected $856.9 million (€742.7 million) in revenue in the quarter under review, almost 20% more than the previous year ($714.8 million or €619.6 million).
In the first 10 months of the year, Macau's gaming sector had total revenues of 205.4 billion patacas (€22.9 billion), 8% more than in the same period last year, it was announced on Saturday.
The gambling capital of the world, Macau is the only place in China where casino gambling is legal.
Six concessionaires operate in the territory, MGM, Galaxy, Venetian, Melco, Wynn and SJM, which renewed their concession contract in December 2023 for the next ten years and which came into force on 1 January 2024.
