Lisbon, Oct. 23, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock exchange closed higher on Thursday, with the PSI index rising 0.58% to 8,353.59 points, in line with the prevailing trend in the rest of Europe.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI, nine rose, six fell and Altri remained unchanged at €5.02.
Leading the risers was CTT, which rose 3.76% to €7.17.
Among the main gainers were Galp, which rose 2.83% to €16.91, Teixeira Duarte, which totalled a further 2.76% to 0.67%, Semapa, which rose 2.49% to €18.14, Mota-Engil, which rose 1.73% to €5.88 and Sonae SGPS, which gained 1.28% to 1.43%.
REN (€3.13), EDP Renováveis (€13.32) and Ibersol (€10.05) rose by less than 1%.
In the opposite direction, leading the declines was Navigator, which fell 1.03% to €3.08.
With falls of less than 1% were EDP (€4.41), Jerónimo Martins (€20.24), NOS (€3.74), Corticeira Amorim (€7.30) and BCP (€0.75).
In the rest of Europe, London rose 0.67%, Frankfurt and Paris 0.23% and Madrid 0.07%.
