Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stocks buoyed by Teixeira Duarte that rose more than 11%

Lisbon, Oct. 14, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Tuesday, with the PSI index rising 0.02% to 8,228.32 points, with construction company Teixeira Duarte rising more than 11%.

Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI, seven rose and nine fell.

Leading the risers was Teixeira Duarte, which rose 11.33% to €0.69.

Teixeira Duarte returned to the Lisbon stock market's main index on 22 September.

Ibersol also stood out in today's stock market session, rising 1% to €10.10.

Gaining less than 1% were BCP (€0.76), EDP Renováveis (€12.91), EDP (€4.33), CTT (€7.08) and Altri (€4.99).

In the opposite direction, Corticeira Amorim led the declines, falling 0.98% to €7.09.

Also down by less than 1% were Semapa (€18.38), Galp (€16.00), Navigator (€3.09), Mota-Engil (€5.76), Jerónimo Martins (€20.66), REN (€3.10), Sonae SGPS (€1.37) and NOS (€3.73).

In the rest of Europe, Madrid rose 0.29% and London 0.10%, while Frankfurt fell 0.62% and Paris 0.18%.
