TUNIS, August 19, 2025 (TAP) – Tunisian weightlifter Eya Hosni (63 kg) secured three new gold medals for Tunisia on Tuesday in the juniors’ category at the African Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships (girls and boys), held in Accra, Ghana.

Compatriot Yasmine Radhouani (53 kg) had won six medals, including three gold.

The three gold medals were obtained in the youth category (snatch, clean and jerk, and total), while Radhouani also claimed three bronze medals in the juniors’ category (snatch, clean and jerk, and total).

Tunisia is participating in this competition with nine weightlifters.
