Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes with benchmark index off 0.46%

Lisbon, Aug. 11, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Monday, with the PSI index falling 0.46% to 7,744.72 points, in a Europe with no clear trend.

Among the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index), nine fell and six rose.

Leading the declines was EDP Renováveis, which fell 2.61% to €9.72.

Among the main declines were Semapa, which fell 1.86% to €17.90, Altri, which fell 1.73% to €5.12, Galp, which lost 1.72% to €16.28, Navigator, which fell 1.44% to €3.29, and Jerónimo Martins, which lost 1.15% to €20.72.

With declines of less than 1% were Corticeira Amorim (€7.62), Sonae SGPS (€1.28) and EDP (€3.69).

Going in the opposite direction, CTT led the gains, rising 2.11% to €7.76, followed by BCP, which rose 1.53% to €0.77.

With gains of less than 1% were Ibersol (€9.60), REN (€2.96), NOS (€3.77) and Mota-Engil (€5.24).

In the rest of Europe, Paris fell 0.57% and Frankfurt 0.34%, while London rose 0.37% and Madrid 0.21%.
