TIRANA, Aug 9 /ATA/The National Iconographic Museum “Onufri” is one of the most visited cultural sites in the city of Berat. 

The icons, colors, and history have been meticulously preserved for visitors to see up close. The institution invites art lovers with the message: “Come—not merely to spend time, but to truly feel it.” This tourist season, many have responded, arriving from all around the world. 

The National Museum Center of Berat manages the “Onufri” Museum as well as the Ethnographic Museum, both of which collect, preserve, and promote valuable collections of the cultural heritage of the city of Berat and its surrounding area. Berat was an important center, especially developed in the 17th century—a place where significant cultural values were gathered, produced, and preserved, serving as true treasures of the national culture.
