Lisbon, Aug. 5, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Tuesday, with the PSI index falling 0.25% to 7,710.15 points, in a mostly positive Europe.
Of the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), eight fell, six rose and NOS remained unchanged at €3.69.
Leading the declines was EDP Renováveis, which fell 1.16% to €10.19.
Also noteworthy was BCP, which fell 1.14% to €0.73.
With falls of less than 1% were REN (€2.98), EDP (€3.73), CTT (€7.43), Corticeira Amorim (€7.74), Sonae SGPS (€1.27) and Altri (€4.83).
In the opposite direction, Ibersol led the gains, rising 2.31% to €9.74, followed by Mota-Engil, which grew 2.22% to €4.80.
Semapa (€17.48), Jerónimo Martins (€21.28), Galp (€16.37) and Navigator (€3.14) saw gains of less than 1%.
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt rose 0.37%, London 0.16% and Madrid 0.15%, while Paris fell 0.14%.
