Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market ends week with four consecutive rises to 7,777.66 points

Lisbon, July 4, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Friday, for the fourth consecutive session, escaping the “red tide” in the main European counterparts.

The PSI index rose 0.% to 7,777.66 points, although only five of the 15 listed companies closed the session in positive territory.

Leading the gains was the EDP family, with subsidiary EDP Renováveis gaining 1.65% to €10.49 with the parent company rising 1.05% to €3.45.

Also in energy, REN rose 0.98% to €3.09, while in retail, Jerónimo Martins advanced 0.52% to €23.10 and Sonae rose 0.31% to €1.28.

Among the losers were Semapa, which fell 1.04% to €17.18, Navigator, which fell 0.91% to €3.28 and Altri, which lost 0.80% to close the week's trading €4.98.

Nos, for its part, remained unchanged this session.

In Europe, the day saw falls, with the highlight being the Spanish Ibex35, which fell 1.48%, while the French Cac40 lost 0.75% and the German Dax fell 0.61%.
