Lisbon, July 1, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Tuesday, with the PSI index rising 1.85% to 7,594.17 points, bucking the mostly negative trend in the rest of Europe.
Of the 15 companies listed on the PSI, 12 rose and three adjusted.
Jerónimo Martins led the gains, rising 3.54% to €22.24.
EDP Renováveis also gained 3.54%, reaching €9.81. Sonae SGPS, which rose 3.48% to €1.25, Altri, which gained 2.67% to €5, NOS, which expanded 2.33% to €3.96, and EDP, which rose 1.96% to €3.75.
Also noteworthy were Navigator, which rose 1.95% to €3.25, REN, which gained 1.32% to €3.07, and Galp, which gained 1.22% to €15.76.
With increases of less than 1% were Corticeira Amorim (€7.97), Semapa (€16.78) and Ibersol (€9.7).
In the opposite direction, leading the declines was BCP, which fell 0.33% to €0.66.
Mota-Engil (€3.83) and CTT (€7.54) each recorded declines of less than 1%.
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt fell 0.99%, Paris 0.04% and Madrid 0.03%, while London rose 0.28%.
