Lisbon, June 25, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Wednesday, with the PSI index falling 0.77% to 7,394.70 points, following the negative trend in the rest of Europe.
Of the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 12 fell, two rose and Semapa remained unchanged at €16.32.
Leading the declines was BCP, which fell 2.69% to €0.65.
Among the main falls were REN, which fell 1.31% to €3.01, NOS, which fell 1.18% to €3.77, Mota-Engil, which fell 1.13% to €3.68 and Altri, which fell 1.12% to €4.87.
With declines of less than 1% were Navigator (€3.25), CTT (€7.23), EDP Renováveis (€9.71), EDP (€3.68), Sonae SGPS (€1.20), Jerónimo Martins (€20.96) and Ibersol (€9.42).
At the other end of the scale, Galp led the gains, rising 0.82% to €15.35, followed by Corticeira Amorim, which gained 0.64% to €7.85.
Elsewhere in Europe, Madrid fell 1.59%, Paris 0.76%, Frankfurt 0.61% and London 0.46%.
