The Turnover Value Index of Wholesale Trade during the first quarter of 2025 recorded an increase of 4.8% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, according to data published on Friday by the Cyprus Statistical Service.

For the same quarter, CySta said, the Turnover Value Index of Sales and Repair of Motor Vehicles recorded an increase of 1.3% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

During this period, the largest increase in wholesale trade was recorded in Wholesale of household goods, which went up 12.4%.

At the same time, the largest increase in sales and repair of motor vehicles was recorded in the sales, maintenance and repair of motorcycles and related parts and accessories, that went up 42.2% compared to the first quarter of 2024.
