TIRANA, May 1/ATA/ Today, there has entered into force the agreement on free movement between Kosovo and Albania, allowing citizens to cross the border without a passport or ID card for most of the year.
According to this agreement, there will be no border controls for Kosovar and Albanian vehicles, enabling fast and unrestricted movement.
The facilitation of procedures will be implemented during nine months of the year, specifically from May 1 to September 30, and from November 1 to February 28 of the following year.
Free movement aims to promote economic and tourist development and promote cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement on free movement is a step forward in strengthening regional cooperation and deeper integration between Kosovo and Albania. /j.p/p.s./
