NNA - In response to Lebanon's ongoing financial challenges, the American University of Beirut (AUB) will host a conference titled Restoring Financial Trust in Lebanon: Building Integrity for a Better Future on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB), Maamari Auditorium.

Organized by the Business Practice and Policy Initiative at OSB, in collaboration with the Good Governance and Citizenship Observatory at AUB, the event will bring together financial experts, policymakers, and academics from Lebanon and the region, including keynote speaker Dr. Tarek Mitri, Deputy Prime Minister, to explore systemic risks, emerging trends, and innovative solutions for restoring financial accountability and trust.

The conference will feature a series of keynote speeches and panel discussions focused on promoting good governance and charting a course toward economic recovery and sustainable development. -- AUB
