Lisbon, April 24, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Thursday, with the PSI index rising 0.61% to 6,878.47 points, in line with most of the main European markets.
Of the 15 listed companies that make up the PSI, eight rose, six fell and Jerónimo Martins remained unchanged at €21.40.
Leading the risers was Sonae SGPS, which rose 3.22% to €1.09%.
Among the main gainers were EDP, which rose 1.92% to €3.35, CTT, which rose 1.66% to €7.37, Galp, which rose 1.40% to €13.75 and Navigator, which increased 1.04% to €3.31.
With gains of less than % were Mota-Engil (€3.35), EDP Renováveis (€7.95) and Ibersol (€9.18).
In the opposite direction, leading the declines was NOS, which fell 1.46% to €3.73, followed by BCP, which fell 1.03% to €0.56.
With drops of less than 1% were Corticeira Amorim €7.38), Semapa (€16.08), Altri (€6.20) and REN (€2.86).
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt rose by 0.47%, Paris by 0.27% and London by 0.05%, while Madrid fell by 0.22%.
