Rabat - April 23, 2025 - (MAP) - Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP) Director General Fouad Arif and Emirates News Agency (WAM) Director General Mohammed Al Hammadi held talks in Rabat on Friday to explore new areas of media cooperation, with a focus on digital innovation and content development.
Arif and Al Hammadi discussed ways to deepen bilateral ties through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance media platforms and promote the creation of innovative content.
The talks also covered journalist training, knowledge-sharing, and strategies for producing high-quality digital media in response to growing industry demands.
Both officials reaffirmed the strength of Morocco-UAE ties, in line with the vision of HM King Mohammed VI and UAE President HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Following the meeting, Al Hammadi said his visit aims to explore “new avenues of cooperation” between MAP and WAM to support media development and innovation.
He also stressed the importance of building on the strong bilateral partnership to serve the evolving needs of the press and media sectors.
