TIRANA, March 26/ATA/ Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja appreciated the “Mountain Package” as an opportunity to attract investments and promote economic development.

The minister extended an invitation to the Albanians abroad to consider this package a valuable opportunity that offers convenience to invest in their homeland, in the land of their ancestors.

“The first 500 entrepreneurs will have 0 taxes for the first 10 years, while at the end of the investment, the land becomes the investor’s property for only 1 euro,” said Gonxhja.

According to him, this is an initiative that gives life to rural and mountainous areas, a bridge from customary law to legal ownership, giving a great boost to the return of the Diaspora and economic development.

The “Mountain Package”, recently approved by the Albanian Parliament, will enable all those who want to invest in rural Albania, on land that does not have a final title of ownership, to have full guarantees for their investment, in agro-tourism, mountain and sports activity centers or guesthouses. /a.f/p.s./
