TIRANA, March 15/ATA/ The Albanian national team in football is ready for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers that will decide the 45 teams that will join hosts Canada, Mexico, and the United States at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Albania is in Group K along with England, Serbia, Latvia and Andorra.

Coach Sylvinho has already selected 26 players for the two matches in March against England and Andorra.

Juljan Shehu of Widzew Lodz and Etnik Brruti of Malisheva have been invited for the first time to join the national team.

Albania’s line-up:

Goalkeepers: Thomas Strakosha, Elhan Kastrati, Alen Sherri and Simon Simoni.

Defenders: Ivan Balliu, Naser Aliji, Marash Kumbulla, Andi Hadroj, Ardian Ismajli, Berat Gjimshiti, Arlind Ajeti and Enea Mihaj.

Midfielders: Ylber Ramadani, Medon Berisha, Qazim Laçi, Kristjan Asllani, Adrion Pajaziti, Etnik Brruti, Juljan Shehu, Nedim Bajrami and Arbër Hoxha.

Forwards: Ernest Muçi, Jasir Asani, Armando Broja, Myrto Uzuni and Rey Manaj.

The official training session starts on Monday, March 17. The national team will play its first match against England at “Wembley” on March 21, at 20:45.
