Lisbon, Aug. 27, 2024 (Lusa) - Portuguese company Control Space, which specialises in storage solutions, today announced an investment of more than €10 million in the opening of three new spaces in the north of the country and in the Lisbon region.

The company said in a statement that this expansion plan, which will add 15,000 square metres of available space by 2025, includes two new locations in the north of the country, in Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, respectively, and a third space in the Lisbon region, near Fórum Montijo.

With this expansion, Control Space will increase its total storage area to around 27,000 m2, following the growth strategy outlined in the recent joint venture with Incus Capital.

The co-founder of Control Space, Albano Costa Lobo, explained in the press release that the company's mission is to offer "safe and flexible" storage solutions, especially in the "context of the crisis" in the housing sector in Portugal, which is causing families and companies to look for alternatives to the lack of space.

Control Space is a storage solutions company for temporary or long-term storage of goods, with four sites located in Lisbon and Porto.
