Lisbon, Sept. 17, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market rose again on Thursday, outperforming the main European markets, closing 1.37% higher at 9,671.11 points, with almost all listed companies in the green.

Of the 16 companies in the PSI index, 15 rose, while Teixeira Duarte fell modestly by 0.21% to €0.48.

EDP Renováveis and EDP led the gains, rising 2.16% to €12.79 and 2.15% to €4.85, respectively.

Next came NOS, which rose by 1.85% to €5.51, Mota-Engil, which gained 1.58% to €5, REN, up 1.42% to €3.57, and BCP, which advanced 1.31% to €1.20.

Navigator (up 1.18% to €3.27) and CTT (up 1.10% to €6.43) also closed up over 1%.

Also in positive territory were Ibersol (up 0.98% to €10.30), Semapa (up 0.97% to €20.90), Sonae (up 0.96% to €2.11), Jerónimo Martins (up 0.95% to €18.06), Altri (up 0.85% to €4.73), Galp (up 0.78% to €22.05) and Corticeira Amorim (up 0.57% to €7.05).

Europe's major stock markets also closed higher, with London up 1.19%, Paris 0.57%, Frankfurt 0.70%, Madrid 1% and Milan 0.80%.
