Exports to EU countries accounted for 68.4% of Albania’s total exports in July, while imports from the bloc made up 47.8% of total imports, highlighting the European market’s central role in Albania’s foreign trade.

Among Albania’s main trading partners, exports to Greece rose 19% in July from a year earlier, the strongest increase recorded among the country’s key markets. Exports to Germany increased 2.5%.

Exports to Italy fell 2% year-on-year, while those to Kosova declined 2.4%.

On the import side, purchases from China recorded the strongest increase, rising 22.7% from a year earlier. Imports from Italy edged up 0.3%, while those from Germany fell 9.2% and imports from Greece declined 2.9%.
