NNA - Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, on Thursday received in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh, Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Chuandong, accompanied by a delegation from the Chinese Embassy.

The discussion touched on the general situation and bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the cultural field.

The Chinese Ambassador said: "As always, it was a good and fruitful meeting with Minister Salameh. We discussed ways to strengthen and further develop cultural exchange between our two countries, as both have distinguished and ancient civilizations and share the same values, especially mutual respect and a passion for learning."

The Ambassador added that the discussions also covered a number of specific issues, including the National Higher Conservatory of Music- This project, which is being implemented thanks to a grant provided by the Chinese government and which represents a cultural landmark for Lebanon.
