Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Stock market closes with benchmark index up 0.3% driven by Galp, NOS

Lisbon, July 13, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed up 0.3% on Monday at 9,133.82 points, driven by Galp and NOS, on a day when the main European indices were mixed.

Of the 16 listed companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), nine closed higher, six lower, and REN remained unchanged at €3.68.

Galp, which is today presenting preliminary operating figures for the second quarter, was the top performer, rising 1.48% to €19.86, followed by NOS, which rose 1.18% to €4.97, and EDP, which gained 0.98% to €4.51.

Also rising were EDP Renewables (up 0.87% to €13.87), Corticeira Amorim (up 0.63% to €6.37), Jerónimo Martins (up 0.49% to €16.46), Sonae (up 0.24% to €2.13), Altri (up 0.11% to €4.69) and BCP (up 0.10% to €1.04).

Navigator, meanwhile, was the stock that fell the most, down 3.73% to €3.15, followed by Ibersol, which fell 2.99% to €9.10.

Also in negative territory were CTT (down 1.29% to €5.73), Semapa (down 1.21% to €20.40), Teixeira Duarte (down 0.51% to €0.49) and Mota-Engil (down 0.18% to €4.51).

The main European stock markets closed today without a clear trend, with London and Madrid falling by 0.02% and 0.30% respectively. Meanwhile, Paris, Frankfurt and Milan rose by 0.31%, 0.08% and 0.23%.
