Lisbon, July 3, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed up 1.40% on Friday at 9,328.28 points, outperforming the gains seen in the major European markets, with Teixeira Duarte rising by 3.23%.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 11 rose, four fell and Semapa remained unchanged at €20.80.
Teixeira Duarte was the biggest riser, closing at €0.54, followed by EDP, which rose €2.97 to €4.69.
EDP Renewables rose by 2.20% to €14.37, Altri gained 2.12% to €4.82 and REN recorded an enhancement of 2.02% to €3.80.
Also rising by more than 1% were Sonae (1.92% to €2.12), Mota-Engil (up 1.86% to €4.82), Navigator (up 1.66% to €3.31), BCP (up 1.42% to €1.07) and Galp (up 1.34% to €18.96). NOS rose by 0.60% to €5.06.
The fallers, meanwhile, were led by Jerónimo Martins, which fell by 1.37% to €16.60, followed by Corticeira Amorim, which fell by 0.76% to €6.50.
CTT fell by 0.57% to €6.07 and Ibersol lost 0.10% to €9.80.
The main European stock markets closed higher today, with London up 0.25%, Paris 0.39%, Frankfurt 0.78%, Madrid 0.92% and Milan 0.75%.
