Lisbon, June 26, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Friday, with the PSI index falling by 0.23% to 9,136.18 points, in line with the downward trend across the rest of Europe.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 10 fell and six rose.
Semapa led the fallers, dropping by 1.86% to €21.20.
With declines of less than 1% were EDP (€4.46), Jerónimo Martins (€17.24), Altri (€4.84), EDP Renewables (€13.56), BCP (€1.02), Ibersol (€9.82), NOS (€5.19), Galp (€18.36) and Navigator (€3.42).
Conversely, REN led the gains, rising by 1.87% to €3.81, followed by Corticeira Amorim, which rose by 1.09% to €6.47.
Rises of less than 1% were recorded by Sonae SGPS (€2.08), CTT (€5.95), Mota-Engil (€4.79) and Teixeira Duarte (€0.55).
Elsewhere in Europe, Frankfurt fell by 1.29%, Paris by 0.55%, Madrid by 0.45% and London by 0.21%.
