TIRANA, May 28 /ATA/ – The Tirana Mediterranean Film Festival (TMFF) returns for its second edition, running from May 28 to May 31, 2026.

The festival serves as a platform for Mediterranean cinema, promoting cultural exchange, artistic dialogue and current trends shaping the film industry across the region.

Events will take place at the Agimi Art Center in Tirana, bringing together history, culture and creativity through film.

This year’s edition features a programme of film screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions and meetings with industry professionals, aimed at strengthening ties between filmmakers from across the Mediterranean region and local audiences.

Thomas Logoreci will serve as artistic director of TMFF for 2026.

With a vision closely linked to Mediterranean storytelling and contemporary cinema, Logoreci brings an artistic approach focused on culture, creativity and cinematic dialogue beyond borders.

The festival jury will include Albanian-French actor Arben Bajraktaraj, alongside Sofia Georgiadou, Taulanda Jupi, Simone Baretta and Marie Franz Alvarez.
