Lisbon, May 14, 2026 (Lusa) – Portugal exported €204 million of wine in the first quarter of 2026, a 6% drop compared to the same period in 2025, although the average price grew, according to data from the IVV (Institute of Vine and Wine).
Total exports reached 75 million litres, a 9% decline from the same quarter in 2025.
An IVV note said that the country exported 75 million litres worth €204 million during the first quarter of 2026. Despite the fall in exports, the average price rose 3.3% compared to the first quarter of 2025 to €2.73 per litre.
