TIRANA, April 30 /ATA/ – Marubi National Museum of Photography in the northern Albania city of Shkodra has joined Rete Fotografia, an international network based in Milan, Italy, that brings together institutions active in the field of photography.
The museum described its membership as an important step for Albanian photography and its international promotion.
Rete Fotografia fosters cooperation, professional exchange and the development of photographic culture through events, conferences and joint initiatives.
Founded in January 2011, the network brings together associations, chambers of commerce, corporations, photographic archives, libraries and foundations with a shared goal of promoting photography.
Marubi’s inclusion is expected to help showcase Albania’s photographic heritage in an international context.
