Juventus have extended coach Luciano Spalletti's contract until 2028, sources said on Friday.
The former Italy, Napoli, Inter and AS Roma coach signed a contract running until the end of the season when he took over the Turin giants at the end of October after they sacked Igor Tudor following a slump in form.
At the time, Juve said Spalletti's contract would be renewed if the club finished in the top four of Serie A to qualify for next season's Champions League.
That goal looks achievable, but it is not a done deal.
With seven games to go, Juve are fifth with 57 points, one point behind fourth-placed Como.
They were seventh with 15 points from nine games when Spalletti took over.
